Best USC Experience So Far
Growing up playing competitive soccer, it is no coincidence that I’ve come to love sports – playing sports, watching sports, and coaching sports. Naturally, one of the things that attracted me to USC was its powerhouse athletic programs. The school spirit at SC is unparalleled, and I did not even realize this fact until I really engaged in SC sports culture.
My best USC experience so far was the USC vs. Notre Dame football game this past fall. Not only was this a large rivalry game, but it also ended up pouring freezing rain. Now, I know that may sound like a miserable experience to some, but for a dedicated sports fanatic like myself, and the rest of my fellow die hard Trojans fans, the rain, the rivalry, and the rally of the crowd summed up for an unforgettable experience. I couldn’t feel my toes, my hands, and better yet, my face, but at the end of the day it was all worth it. I don’t remember the exact score, but I do remember winning. The communal feeling of a win at the Coliseum encompasses the true Trojan spirit. The dedication of our athletes, and of the fans too, served as a testament to how much it meant to be a Trojan that game. Even if you don’t love sports, a USC football game is a must. I know that the next football season is a little ways away, but I can’t wait for the season to come. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting our USC Men’s Volleyball team and many other teams on campus. Fight on!
