The Marshall School of Business recently purchased several Bloomberg terminals, a computer system provided by Bloomberg L.P. that enables professionals in finance and other industries to access the Bloomberg Professional service. Users can monitor and analyze real-time financial market data and place trades on the electronic trading platform.
We have several terminals located at USC:
3 in the Crocker Business Library (HOH201), 2 upstairs and 1 in the lab downstairs
1 in the Accounting Library
2 terminals in the Popovich Hall (2nd floor lab and on the 3rd floor)
3 in Bridge 203 (limited use for FBE Investment Studies)
1 in the USC Orange County location.
We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to use the Bloomberg terminals, especially since they cost an average of $24,000 a year for a single terminal subscription. These computer systems are perfect for those interested in pursuing a career in finance and investment banking.
