Eating On Campus…Where Should You Go?

It’s lunch and you have some free time between classes…so where should you go to satisfy your stomach?

Yeah, here are the dining halls, but why go to EVK/Parkside/Cafe 84 when you have so many other options!

Which brings us to…

campus center

Ronald Tutor Campus Center.
One of my favorite places to meet with friends during the day, get food to nom on, and also sit down to study when I’m not really feeling the libraries.

Three of my favorite on-campus options are actually housed right in Campus Center! Right up front there’s Seeds, where you can grab things to-go or wait for custom sandwiches, salads, and more! Inside there’s Verde, which is pretty similar to Chipotle and has a variety of really good fruit drinks. Near Verde, you can also find Panda Express and CPK (California Pizza Kitchen for those of you who don’t know). Upstairs on the second floor of TCC, we have a Lemonade which is definitely my personal favorite place to grab a bite (I recommend the orecchiette with tomatoes and mozzarella along with the watermelon radish and a blood orange lemonade to wash it all down)!

Next semester, Campus Center is getting a HABIT Burger!

It’s going to take the place of the Carl’s Jr. on campus, which will be super exciting–nothing against Carl’s Jr. (I’ve never had it).

We also have a lot of options right of campus, as well!

A few of my favorites include Chipotle, Chick-Fil-A (for my sweet tea needs), and Pizza Studio. If those don’t do it for you, there’s also a BUILT Custom Burger Bar, Subway, and Sandwich Island (located in the University Village–the Turkey Avocado is to die for).

In short, there are a lot of good options on campus and right around, so your stomach will never be dissatisfied!

Eat on, Trojans!
