My Favorite Marshall Memory

My favorite Marshall experience surely has to be the GLP Beijing trip in my freshman year.  During Spring Break, I went with Professor Stacy Geck, Professor Carl Voigt , Ms. Helen Pitz, and about 30 other students to Beijing, China.  We visited companies such as Walmart, Bimbo, Baidu, etc,  and immersed ourselves in the local culture.  The GLP trip was a fantastic experience, allowing me to make new friends and experience global business.  We met with alumni who have set up successful  businesses in China, learning about the barriers and challenges they had to overcome.  We also went to amazing landmarks such as the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, and local markets!
