My Food, My Way

Hi readers!

So I don’t consider myself a “foodie” or a “food guru”, but I definitely appreciate good, tasty food! I had heard of this restaurant called “The Counter”, but I had never been to it before. My sister and I were on our way to a play and we decided we wanted to stop for food. Randomly, The Counter was literally right across the street from where we parked. We decided to go there (rather than Chipotle, which is another one of my favorites and where we were originally headed.)

I was expecting something similar to ‘Five Guys”, but “The Counter” is actually a sit-down burger place. What I really liked about it is that you can customize your burger – I got a 1/3 beef on a multigrain bun with lettuce, tomatoes, pickled, hard-boiled eggs and tomato vinaigrette. [I wish I had taken a picture of it, but I didn’t think to!] It was AMAZING! I love egg, but I’ve never put it in a burger before. It was such a good choice though! It was very tasty. My sister and I split an order of fries, which was also really good.

I think “The Counter” has been around for a while, but it was new to me. It was a nice burger experience and I would definitely go back! I was pleasantly impressed!

Off on my next food adventure,
