Reflections of Fall Semester
Fall semester passed by in a blur, as my semesters seem to do. It was a jam-packed semester, full of classes, fun, friends, football, extracurriculars, food, and more.
As my first semester in the second half of college, it was a bit surreal, realizing that over half of my journey was behind me. At the same time, it was exciting knowing that many more great experiences, adventures, and lessons were in front of me.
I took a diverse course-load, my most diverse course-load yet, which included:
-Spreadsheet Applications for Business
-Exploring Creativity in Business
-English Literature since the 1800’s
-The Process of Change In Science (a class about space exploration, specifically to Mars)
All of my classes were fantastic, and the diversity was a welcomed change.
Highlights: Disneyland with my friends, taking on leadership roles in my extracurricular organizations, learning how to use Excel, visiting the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for my science class, putting my car to good use by exploring LA, scavenger hunt at Griffith Observatory, a beach bonfire at Dockweiler beach, and so many more.
Low lights: Midterm week, going up the Stanford for the weekender, standing in the rain for five hours at the UCLA game. That’s about it.
