Restaurants in LA

I love LA for its diverse restaurants. In downtown, there are many options. I like Chaya, Wokcano, and Octopus the best. Chaya is an Asian fusion restaurant which serves dishes such as short ribs, sea bass, salmon etc. Below is a picture of me (on the left) at Chaya for my friend’s graduation dinner.

It is a more upscale restaurant so I usually go here for recruiting events or for a nice occasion. I like Wokcano because it has sushi as well as dishes such as walnut shrimp.

Octopus is a nice sushi restaurant with happy hour deals and lunch specials. I also enjoy going to Bottega Louie, which serves great truffle tries and is famous for its macaroons.

These restaurants can be accessed easily by using the Dash F bus which only costs 50 cents one way! Sometimes I would plan a brunch or lunch trip to these restaurants using the Dash F, and I would get there in around 15-20 minutes. LA has many dining options that are close by USC!
