Society 53 is the USC Alumni Association’s student outreach program. The 53 student leaders serve as USC Alumni Association ambassadors and provide programming and events that connect USC students with alumni. Named in honor of the 53 students who formed USC’s first student body in 1880, the program was launched November 5, 2008 at Widney Alumni House, the oldest building on campus. It is a great way to get involved on campus and to start networking with the Trojan Family!

One of our main events is called Trojan SCuppers. The USC Alumni Association and Society 53 bring you the fourth annual Trojan SCuppers, a series of dinner parties hosted by alumni for 10-15 students. Last year we had 30 SCuppers and over 400 students attended. It’s a great way to meet peers and alumni in a fun and relaxed environment, so mark your calendars for this spring, February 10-12, 2012. I cannot wait to plan and attend my second year of SCuppers!
