USC Marshall, What a Wonderful Place to Be!
One thing I have learned about business this year is truly how connected Marshall is to the business world. Last week during Careerfest, I attended many activities such as the Mondelez Management Development Program Informational Session and the Marshall Recruiter Reception. While attending both events and speaking with numerous recruiters, I could truly tell that they were looking for and enjoyed speaking with Marshall students. I mean, how lucky are we to have so many recruiters come to campus to talk to us! Not only outside recruiters, but also “Trojans Hiring Trojans” attended the events over the week. I really feel like I got to know individual representatives at the Marshall Recruiter Reception, a reception where many recruiters come to campus and we have a chance to speak with them before the career fair. It’s a more intimate setting and allows for the development of strong relationships early on.
Now these recruiter and career development events don’t only occur during the week of Careeerfest, rather, as Marshall students we are constantly notified of open positions, information sessions, and recruiter receptions. I feel so lucky to be a part of such a prestigious business school that has exposure and respect nationwide and worldwide!
