USC = (The) Undeniably Superior Choice
I knew from the moment I stepped on campus that I wanted to come here to USC. I could literally talk for days about the things here at USC that I love, but I’ll save you the hours and just hit a few key points…
1. I am a planner. If you’ve ever taken the Myers Briggs Personality test…I’m as far to the “J” side as possible. That means I have to organize my tasks, plan everything out beforehand, and me + spontaneity usually doesn’t turn out well. Well at USC Marshall I visited and they gave me this piece of paper that had a very structured plan for the courses that I would take during my 4 years here. It was organized, it showed that I had tons of room to explore a minor or double major (which turned into 2 minors), and I was very impressed with the business core curriculum too.

3. What really sold me was the type of student here. Maybe this is a given, but I would say every (well most) student(s) really puts a value on education and learning, and that kind of environment is really helpful for me in that it challenges me and motivates me to become a better student and person. And maybe this is a generalization but I would also say that for most students education is important but not THE most important part of their life to the point where it interferes with extracurricular activities, clubs, internships, friends, etc that people also value. The students that I met here have been some of the most involved AND brilliant people I’ve ever met. I felt like I could fit in with this lifestyle of a balanced life between school life and social life.
