HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone. Yes, I am aware that it is February already but since this is my first post of the new year, I want to make sure to start off right and celebrate 2012.
Since coming back from break, I have been very busy with classes, work, and involvement on campus. But no matter how busy life gets, there’s never no time for me to appreciate the beauuuuuuuuutiful campus life that I have at USC.
I took this picture of McCarthy Quad this past Saturday as I was meeting with my group members for a project. As anxious as I was about starting on the assignment, I couldn’t help but admire the scenery: girls and boys tanning in bathing suits, reading, throwing ball, chatting with friends, and just soaking in the warm sunlight. I don’t know another school where I can find students just casually lounging around in the middle of campus, in front of the 24/7 Leavey Library, in the middle of what the rest of America calls “winter”.
Definitely another reason USC WINS.

On a side note, CONGRATS to those early admit scholarship recipients! I cannot wait to meet you next month at our Explore USC event. It’s going to be a good one so get excited!!
For those of you still waiting for your big packet, just be patient. I know it’s hard but it’ll all be worth it… I would know because I didn’t receive mine until March.
